I give a dam about Texron and Cat i want to know what the plans are for Yamaha! I must say that Yamaha is probably much as bad as Texron when it comes to commonucating and info what the plans are for the future of snowmobiles they deliver.

Yes ,i would like to se them make a lightweght 4 stroke turbo sled. And a chassi that fits the 3 and 4 sylinder motor. If the weight comes down to a 2 stroke sled then Yamaha will be back on the top

Making Carbon fiber hood,seat cowl and tank hood. . .

Got some more power into it and is makin it into a dragracer now. . .

To the drag strip. No more mountain on this sled. Have been making some Carbon parts,hood and tank cover. Neew lower and longer tunel,and skid. More to come ;)

I think when they are so tight lipped about the future the custumers hold the money in their wallet and dont dare to buy when they dont know how long they will get parts and service. Ohh,parts you dont get anymore,allmost everything on the Sidewinder is mounths on backorder!

Could drill some holes tru the chims so more oil comes to the bushing

Sad,maybe there is nothing to do with this shitty design of a chaincase :( Just buy new chain,upper gear and shaft every year to be safe?And driveshaft and bearing.

Yamalube has been change,there is something in the oil that Yamaha dont use anymore. Anyone that knows what they dont use anymore?

I have used this gear oil in my drag nytro in 4 years and now been using it in my Sidewinder. I fill my caincase so the oil is just above full site glass. I do this beacouse of the 2 chains and lots of parts that oil stick to.

Jepp,i have 24/50 on my Btx and the bushing is still fine and also little stretch on the chain. Running 305hp for 2 years now.

I will brainstorm with you. Could it be that smaller upper gear(20-21-22) VS 24 tooth wear more on the bushing? The chain has more force on the smaller gear vs bigger gear. Think about the track that runs on bigger idler wheels ,its running more free and more HP to the ground VS smaller wheels...
