Ah yeah ok. I’m looking for the sleeping cherries. I got lucky with my 86. The 87 was a bit beat but is fully, fully loaded now. I acquired an 88 to be able to copy the bush bar, but it’s going to a buddy in exchange for a bit of trades work.
I see old threads on performance damping here, but is it just me, or did the section on it in the Yamaha website only appear around March 5?
It is interesting that they made a promo teaser video on it.
Kinda desperate for some vision here, so I might be over reading this, but we'll see if it...
ATVs are all made at the big plant down in Georgia. There is no sign that the ATV business is suffering the way the snowmobile division appears to have been.
I had a horrible, horrible experience with Spot. I strongly recommend against anyone ever using them. Their customer service and billing practices are predatory, and it's surprising that they are even legal. Absolutely atrocious. And I've seen other guys have had the same types of issues. Two...
I both agree as well as disagree. Agree in the sense that it doesn't make sense to tip their hand, and I've said that before. Disagree in the sense of the almost total silence. Let's face it, we collectively rationalize enough about Yamaha's moves and path forward!

There's gotta be some rubbing going on somewhere in the wiring harness. I would even guess that there might be a technical bulletin on it. There are definitely tech bulletins for the same problem on older units.
The new BTX with the 2.25 looks pretty good from that angle. But I can't ignore those XTXs either, they have some pretty enticing specs and some interesting updates.
Hey fellow Saskie,
Yeah that's why the 146s are interesting. There's a whole bunch of new features in the way they are set up. That's kind of the dilemma; the BTX has a bit more length in the skid, which is usually nice, but the whole suspension on the XTXs is quite a bit different than the...
So I've been eyeing up BTXs for a while now. And now there is a new LE BTX iteration, as well as the SE ad LE XTX versions.
Almost all of the riding I do would fall into the off-trail category. Any "trails" that I do end up on are rudimentary compared to actual groomed trails. We do a bit of...
