+1 on this. I rode over 4500km last winter on an RS Venture, and that was a really warm machine to ride. I was never once cold, even at +50mph in -25c weather. I was planning on getting some handlebar muffs, so I like the idea of the signal lights - hadn't even considered getting my hands in...

I do agree with the engine choice issue. I'm wasn't looking for a rocket, but I wanted the EPS and the other "comfort" features on the GT models. My perfect sled would have been the S-TX GT and L-TX GT, but with the non-turbo Genesis 4-stroke that was in my RS Ventures - super nice engine. So...

Good to know, will keep on eye that next winter once I've got the new sleds. I plan to use them for when we go on weekend trips using the sleds only, so clothes would be in there. Wouldn't want my PJ's scattered all over the trails! :)

Definitely! The hardest part is right now. Lake will be frozen for another few weeks, so no boat, and the trails are closed to ATVs until May 1st, so nothing to do!!

I currently have 2 RS Ventures - I love the engine, hate the track howl. So the Viper was going to be for my wife, but then I realized Yamaha didn't add EPS to it, so that broke the deal, as she needs EPS due to arthritis in her hands. So I went for an S-TX GT for me and an L-TX GT for her :)
