Do you find they make a big difference?

Congrats on your find - I had ordered one of those sleds as well but it never showed up. Would you mind posting a pic of your rear tunnel with the dual UPT mount and the small bag? I have a '23 Thundercat which should be exactly the same dimensions, but I didn't think I could get the dual mount...

Agree it's not cheap, and I did both at the same time, so I can't say how much each contributes to newly found blissful quietness :) For me it was totally worth it, as it's great to just hear the purr of the 998T, and no rattling bucket of bolts!

The rattling drove me crazy. I added the hurricane noise reduction ring and swapped the stock clutch for a cc tech pb80. I know it's going to be a bit slower now with this clutch, but I only trail ride and never approach top end speeds anyways :). I've only got a couple of hundred kms on this...

Got one day of trail riding before the heat wave hit :). But was enough to remember why this is the best outdoor activity!

I also looked at the Kimpex, but chose the Up North Tech plate for Linq. I got the 15L stackable fuel caddy and a storage bag to go on top of it. I just liked the rigidity of the UPT plate.

Is this applicable to the Thundercats as well?

Man that sucks. Hate hearing stuff like this. Pics would be good, people can keep an eye out. Also info on how they stole it so maybe others can do more to protect ourselves. I have cameras on my trailer, but always thinking should be doing more.

Bit off topic... but what windshield have you used that you would consider the "quietest"? Curious as I'm always looking for the quietest possible ride :).

Mine did the same. I think they felt pretty bad with my 2022 L-TX GT EPS being cancelled plus my 2023 SRX ordering fiasco :).

I've got an email with an order number, confirmation of my deposit, and supposedly will get a 2nd email tomorrow with a "certificate of deposit" - whatever that means. My dealer says with the AC process the first email is confirnation that I have a real order. The first email even says...

My dealer said the same thing. Crashes in multiple back-end systems, including the credit card payment system :). Sounds like it was not a fun day for the dealers or the customers trying to order directly from the web site. I did get my order confirmation today, so at least I'm further ahead...

I just hope we find out relatively quickly, one way or the other, unlike the experience with Yamaha. I was really looking forward to having a blue SRX :).

I got the "official" email saying I'm on the waitlist at 7:30 pm EST. Totally agree they botched this from a PR / customer service perspective. It just baffles me why they wouldn't prioritzie customers who had their 2023 orders cancelled. :dunno:
