I have 2 of them and was lucky enough to be the 1st person ever to blow one up in December of 2013!!!! What you have is a blast but can be even more fantastic! What muffler/can do you have? For 10#'s of boost what fuel pump upgrade is in it? are you running larger injectors or the 4th with...
well my 14 xtx was built in late 13 with the MPI stage 1 with the intercooler and quiet muffler. with as much work as could be done stock it was never even close to 200 hp with 5#'s of boost. After the motor blew and I rebuilt it with low compression pistons and upgraded the fuel pump and added...
Well if 8400 is Max then too much weight in the arms or you are down a bit in power. 1st off which viper rtx, ltx, xtx? Which MPI kit do you have? An original stage I from 2014 with intercooler or later kit supposedly 190 with electronic boost control? Next what muufler? The. Quiet trail MPI...
If you hit 11 on acceleration your #*$&@ would know it then your wallet because it would probably blow up. Without an upgraded fuel pump and 4 the injector you would go so Kean it would pop believe me I know!. If you are using digital gauge Chuck it in 5 yrs I have been through 7 and now have...
boy its been 4 yrs now I do not remember. I do know I am hard on the sled and that track now has over 6,000 miles on it with boost pushing the hp to around 265 and a very large right thumb!:sled1:
Funny but I "had" 160 in my 1.6" camp track and about 20% are gone and 2 actually pierced the mud flap thread point first impaling them in the flap.
But the durometer of that track is a lot softer than the ripsaw.
I have on the xtx vipers and found no matter what I did the steering was very heavy but had 8" carbides on the inside and 6" on the outside I went back to 14 single keep skis with twin 8" carbides.
Well the best part is once you nail the set up it will fit you like a glove and the guy with the newer one will be lagging behind you. 2 years so far and my old viper still has not lost to a new winder. We will see how this year goes!
Well I blew up a 2012 & 13 and my buddy a 13 all 3 took out the cranks and all went with under 500 miles on them. It was an oil issue and piston skirt issue on those yes my other 13 has 4,000 miles on it but oil injector turned way up and the 14 has no problems all we're and are 136" switchbacks.
