I rode a 2006 Apex gt for 10 years and loved it. Recently been riding a polaris Axis 800.
Im considering getting back on a yamaha. Likely a 2015 to 2018 sr viper. I have a few questions.
1. What is the function of the chasis shock that some models have horizontaly at rear of the tunnel?

I just pressed my oem wheels onto the new micro belmont shaft. I didnt think about ahead od time but the mb shaft is slightly larger. So now the metal collars on each end are too small.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Just to update everyone, I couldn't sleep at night if it was just left as is, so we had it welded and am glad we did. It wasn't leaking as it was and system at full temp, however a pin hole burst as soon as we got near it with the Tig.
In the end I think the gouge was almost through the...
The two nuts on the J bolts are overtightened from the factory. Try and support the brakets on the muffler shroud with some chanel locks as you losen them or the brakets will bend and possibly crack.
