Here is a picture of the inside of the OEM switch. The resistors are very small, I think 1/4 watt.

I went ahead and installed a thru hood intake. I love the look and must say that I did miss the spooling sound my MPI viper made when I poked the intake thru the hood. Intake temp will definitely be colder and I will keep an eye on the AFRs.

I would like the new hand controls on my 18. They look as they will function much better. I'm always bumping the heater buttons and hitting the reverse can be a pain at times.
