one 5000 miles before seal blew. Lots of guys on here will never even see that many miles. No problems since took the guts out of the roll-over valve making it not function but left the hose stock. I was just saying 6000 miles and 11000 miles with no performance issues with the hose stock.
I got 2 friends, one with 6000 miles one with 11000 miles on there sidewinder and never a performance issue with the hose the way it is stock. One didn't blow original oil seal til 5000 miles, the one with 11000 miles has been re-sealed twice.
I got 1800 miles of hard trail driving and some lake racing on a stock 8jp belt. Pulls hard 850 wont touch it if i hook up. First 500 miles clutch was stock, since i installed a dalton b/o secondary spring and a 33/35 helix
i GOT 1800 MILES on my stalker....i think i am going to push it til at least 2500 if possible....but i like the idea of having a great spare and hopefully another 2000 miles without blowing 1
I just dont understand how any substantial amount of vapour or oil is getting to the turbo through a line that goes to the oil tank and isn't under pressure. How is this even blow by? its just a vent?
Its just a vent....with very minimal pressure from the oil tank,,,, its not like the engine is pressurizing it. Remove the Innards from the valve eliminate the roll over valve and no mor moil is going to go in the airbox then it was stock?
Why can't you use remove the innards of the valve so it won't work =, now acting like an apex with no roll over valve? .....This has so many pages now its crazy,,,,,So we all have this hose coming out at the bottom of our sleds? Wat did you do with yours dan
I have a 2 other friends with sidewinders that came from a different dealer studded the exact same way right under the center protector. The mans sled has alot of miles and alot of marks in his center. His wifes sled had 0 marks so far. So there is more then 1 dealer in the maritimes studding...
What Helix you running. I'm running a dalton 33/35 with the O/B spring. I pulled 122 on the lake with this setup. I'm wrapped at 3/3. If i go to 6/1 your saying i will lose some of that top speed?
