Apex RPM won’t go below 3-4000 after some riding. Clutch? Throttle?

I can’t get this idle below 4000rpm after I hit the throttle. The idler nut is tight too..hmmm. What do I do next? Clutch was cleaned, throttle bodies sprayed clean, throttle seems to be moving nicely. What’s my next move? Please help

So what do I need to do? Lol. My batteries exposed and I don’t want to do this again. Tired of the wires melting. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Another no start/no power

So I got a new starter and I still couldn’t get it to crank with my battery even though it was reading around 12.2 volts. So i took jumper cables off my truck and hooked it up to the new starter…boom she worked. Immediately I bought a new battery. New battery reads 12.7…..so apparently you can’t...

    Another no start/no power

So is it recommended to just solder all the flat black ones too? Even though they look fine… I’ve got them all exposed now…a few of those ground blocks are corroded.

    Another no start/no power

No I have not. I just soldered the two by the clutch as I noticed they were the common ones with issues. When you say 6, do you mean all 6 are white with black caps? Or are those black little boxes considered a ground issue as well? The little box by the starter relay was good and so were...

Thanks @Stubbs. Also I read the kill switch connection down at the bottom of the handle bars could be melted or bad connection. I need to check both of those for sure.

    Another no start/no power

Yeah gauges….I’ve always been able to turn key and see how many kilometres are on the sled, fuel gauge, hear fuel pump etc etc. I have nothing. So I started with starter relay, the two ground blocks by clutch, checked all fuses, checked battery and now the starter.

    Another no start/no power

I have other questions relating to no power but not sure if I should start a new thread. There’s so many of them and I’ve spent hours reading them. So my one question is…when i turn my key I have nothing. So that’s not the starter but ironically it don’t work either. From what I’ve been reading...

Yup it’s that easy. Two bolts and bang her out with a mallet. So I can’t fix this thing? Replace some parts or something inside?

    Another no start/no power

Just pull the two bolts and bang er out? I thought I’d have to take the oil can off…sheesh I hope not. Just filled it with oil then magically I have no power. Now we’re here

    Another no start/no power

Sorry @steiner i don’t understand. The relay was already installed and hooked up. Wouldn’t the starter crank if it was good? I thought I just take the battery and jumper cables and hook right up to starter with positives and listen for a crank? At least that’s what google says…I’m confused...
