I've borrow a sled lift, however I don't think it will be real valuable in getting the skid in and out. It will be in the way. Anybody have experience doing this on a venture? I really don't want to do the "tip the sled on its side trick" if I can avoid it.
Put a new starter relay in. The old one definitely had green copper residue around the bottom of the pins of the 3 blade harness. Cleaned the harness blades off with contact cleaner, then applied dielectric grease to the blades before assembly. Capped it all off with the old top of a tic tag...
I think the plastic push pins that hold the boots on around my steering struts up front have two different part numbers. Are you saying these universally replace all?
The old ones did not seem to be in bad shape at all. I bought this sled used supposedly with 300miles on it. The sled sat outside before I bought it and plastic is faded in spots. Was always suspicious of the milage due to the instrument display looking better than the rest of the plastic...
Well I do experience a very slow crank from time to time. Doesn't seem to matter if the sled is hot or cold, so I'm not sure I suspect the cold relay problem. The battery has been ruled out. Not sure I want to pull this starter out, so I'm wondering if the starter can be checked for the loose...
