If you have the flasher and the app you can select in the app if you want hr meter to read boost or afr. If you have dash flash you can monitor both at same time.
Wow thats odd it didnt flash knock light at 5 degrees! Didnt even know it was capable of pulling that much. Pretty sure my hurricane bundles show knocklight at 2.5 or 3 degrees somewhere around there and I know for sure my TD bundle is 2.5 degrees of retard. Have you ever logged any knock counts...
I plan on testing gap with cap, gap with open top and stock airbox one day…….back to back testing to satisfy my curiosity. I think the cap is needed to make the most of it but we’ll see I guess
You need to configure in a way that fuel flows through to the rail. If you just add it to top of tank you will get a reading of unregulated pump pressure which will help to diagnose if the pump is bad if it doesnt develop pressure or much of it but will tell you nothing about how the regulator...

This is what you need to test fuel pressure on yamahas. Good to have for period maint checks if fuel system hasnt been altered in a way that allows easy testing. Disconnect line at rail and ad neccessary...
Thats mainly why I like lower moflows and the ones by the knees……….I find underhood heat noticably reduced vs no venting at all. You feel it by the knees when slowing down.
I cant say 5000 miles but I can say at 3500 miles there is no rattle. Everything is still very tight. Good cover is a must though. SSI, bikeman and carey lewis all have heavy duty covers available now. Much tougher and more precise fit where it goes over the esge of the towers.
Found it……….. so the weather was 41 degrees and doo said its normal to digest alot in anything above freezing. Im still anxious to see range though in the cold. If its 4 times better in the cold that would be acceptable but $25 a gallon ?!?!
I think the biggest downfall with the doo 850 turbo is going to be the meth usage when running hard. Guy had posted about riding in tug hill when they had first recieved snow and he was out of meth by 50 miles. Dealer looked it over and all was good. Contacted brp and they said that was 100%...
The higher finish rate on a spring increases upper rpms as it takes more clutch weight to overcome. Dalton measured the factory spring at 115 so the black red is a little heavier on the finish but not a whole lot. The preload is lower so engagement will be lower. It is a better spring choice...
For bottom moflows I cut the entire area out with cutoff wheel on a dremel as the area is so small it does not really weaken it when fully open. No problems this way on 4 sleds total. lower side panel can stay on for all of it. I just removed lower shock bolt so I could pivot it out of the way...
I had a genuine walbro pump before that must of been wired backwards on the pump side as delivered because I had to cross the wires to get it to work correctly. It will run either way, just backwards. You can test it on bench to see if that was your issue.
Tapp is really good at helping out with those issues. Saw a twisted tapp last winter off a tcat here in maine with 360 or 375hp “small tune” on gap big turbo. I believe Dave fixed it for him at no cost.
I use 229 red supreme. They likely have better choices for my equipment but its the one I tried and it does everything I need it too and ive stuck with it. Ive used greases that should be better on paper, but if they dont stay put they dont do their job. This is my 3rd mechanical harvester and...
