I didn't end up really touching the secondary - or changing it. When StevewithOCD came up and confirmed my first step was to get a primary clutch that functioned properly, the plan after that was to see how the sled did ...re with the secondary. I haven't gotten out to do any real...
So sorry, I thought I posted it: The primary was the problem. Sticking like crazy when it come to ...squeezing in and grabbing the belt, as well as not ...sliding back out to release the belt.
Has anyone seen any videos/instructions on taking this apart? I took the 3 screws on the inner coupling out and the plastic cover they held in. I can see the back/side of the switch, but, just leery of how best to get inside to inspect & clean. Thanks for any help.

Huge thanks to EVERYONE who assisted me in this issue. Especially StevewithOCD for coming to my driveway and spending most of a Sunday helping. And thanks to Travis at Barn full of Parts for my bulkhead repair and a reconditioned, or at least working, used primary clutch. Things seem to be...

Sorry if I am missing a previous post, but, I am looking to duplicate the "switchblade" key that came with my '06 Apex. I have a duplicate key blank on it's way, but, wondering how to take the actual metal key out of the plastic switchblade case. It looks like there's tiny little tab to the...
Stupid question, but: How do I figure out the screws to use? I can't find the skid plate as a 'new item' on, say, Partzilla. I could do trial 'n error but don't want to muck up the receiving-side threads.
It's so great to have so many helpful, knowledgeable folks in this TY forum/community. Totally invaluable. But it's just incredible when you find someone like StevewithOCD who took most of his Sunday to drive up from CT to visit me in MA and help me figure out my clutching issue(s). He...
I have moved the beast around the yard a couple times since snow dropped last week. Belt is smoking/squeeling so looking forward to SteveOCD coming by for a visit!!!!
Thanks RobX. Yea, I think I see the rivet-nuts. Quick/stupid question: Does this skid plate slide up/in & under the front lower nose plate, or does it mount outside of it? (pic of my sled with red arrow pointing to the "nose plate" I'm referring to.
