175 miles. Secondary wrapped at 6&1, I'm seeing 8800-8900 Fun on the trail with a little more tension in the secondary!!

I think viper Joe has a stage 3 evo flash Have u done anything to the secondary spring? With that much torque I would think u would want some more resistance in the secondary so it doesn't slip. Worked for me with my stage 2 turbo viper

Pretty much the same. Just keep an eye on the washers when you take the big bolt out. The belt is a lot harder to put on compared to the button secondary. I have the osp belt adjuster now and it makes it much easier. I wrapped mine to 70 as well.;)!

If your goal is to win most races against an aftermarket turbo sled, you better get it flashed with muffler. And remember there is always someone faster. Guy/Gal who spends more wins......usually!!

Does he have a boost gauge? Next time he beats you ask him to switch sleds with you and check if he's running 6 lbs. When I had my Stage 1 (6lbs of boost) kit on my viper I would raise the boost up to 7 or 8 for short races to make sure I got the win!! Not saying you bud isn't honest but...

Mine was set at 3-3. 6-1 works much better!

I didn't say anything about changing engagement. You can have smooth engagement and great low end acceleration which you said was soft.

Ya that's true. I have a few sets of Dalton weights I'm going to try but just wanted to changed one thing at a time to monitor results. Wrapping the secondary will help it back shift a little better though!!

Mine felt the same way. I checked the secondary spring it was set at 3-3. Put it up to 6-1 but I have no more snow to test. Maybe you could try this and see if it helps any;)!

It transfers ok the way it's setup. Transfer blocks on the second setting and limiter straps factory setting. If I set it up for just trail riding like my previous viper the transfer isn't great. That's with the limiters tightened one hole and least transfer on the blocks. It's not like my...
