Time will tell..... Is polaris going to give a class for the do it yourselfers to be able to work on this thing?? LOL! maybe they will sell you the jig to hold it together while the glue dries too!!!!!
The thing is literaly glued together????? Makes me just a little nervous!!! And the radiator up front under the nose?? WTF??? Sounds like a snow x machine with a dozen enginiers standing by to glue it back together! Put it in the real world and I could destroy it in less than a day!!!!
The uni pods are baaaad! I also sucked a filter through my carbs and almost one of the c clips. Pull out all the c-clips and safety wire the foam in. As far as code 14 and 26, the 2 plugs on the back of airbox sometimes cut the wires, peticularely if its been moving around. Also dont forget...
I'm running the Challenger 151 2.3 and I love it. It has no problem turning this track, it also improved the deep snow performance leaps and bounds. I did go to a 17 tooth top gear in chaincase which I believe helped make it easier to dial in clutching. Also went with the simmons gen II ski's...
Remember your never to touch the throttle while trying to start or it will flood. Once flooded just taking plugs out can 1) release fuel vapors out of cylinders without putting more in. (ie:holding throttle wide open to clear out a carberated engine) 2) just wipeing the plugs off or drying them...
I don't think you would have any iceing issues. I have few friends with RX1 and they run the tunnel dump exhaust and have no problems with iceing. I will be going to a tunnel dump next year. The problem with a phazer is you have to fabricate a solid mounting system since your paraleling the...
Alot of the time it is the plug that goes into the iar box, look for a broken wire or burnt wire. Its what mine did. Sensor should not go bad.
The reason you could be getting moisture is from not having your cowling sealed up extra to keep snow out, Also large float plate helps. The snow gets...
sea level set up for mnt lite is 13.9(3.6g)steel, iner and outer. If you want to bring the rpms down you need more (g) in tip. All yami lists is a 17.2(4.5g) steel. 13.3 alum .85 g is pretty lite?
Remember lite raises rpm & heavy brings down rpms
I'm running the 17.2 in my tips. put me rite where i want to be when the track hooks up but will still over rev when it slips. 17 tooth top gear at sea level rinning 151 2.3 challenger
You can try heavier wieghts in your tips in primary. it will bring it down 200-800 rpm. I believe the shorty's were set up with 10.3mm rivets on the inner and center position and 13.3mm outer, both steel. Yami sells a 13.9 and 17.2 steel you could try in the tip? I may be way off base here but I...
you cant hook into bottom of radiator, you hook into the hose coming out of bottom of radiator and splice into it on the way up to engine. Along the side of iol tank.
Coming out of bottom of radiator going up is path of least resistance to engine. If heat can go down then yes you would loose some heat through the radiator but I do believe heat rises?
I have had same issues. A click does not mean the relay is working, it is trying but has moisture inside frozen keeping it from clicking all the way warm it up with a hair dryer or your hand and it should work. The cure is a new relay but it is likely to happen again if you don't address the...
first time this thing has to go in shop will pay for your Y.E.S.. If you have a good local dealer the yes is like putting money in the bank. If you plan on keeping it, get it. You may think you cant afford it but the alternative is brutal. Other wise your rollin the dice. If its machanical it...
