After the first year on my 20 I switched out the lower shaft with the BOP one and noticed the bushing was loose and worn on the new shaft so I replaced it with the hygear bushing, about 6k on it now and it’s still looking good.
Yeah you shouldn’t have to adjust the suspension to make a ski work, you can but you sacrifice ride quality. Riding in that depth of snow you definitely need a wide set of skis and the 6.9’s are probably your best bet if you can find a set. There’s a set for sale in Ontario Kijiji but they are...
I did change my centre shock lower bushing though as I had quite a bit of play on mine, pretty sure I got it from hygear and supposed to be better than stock.
Fourload explained it well.. I didn’t know they changed the tip weight on the newer sleds. Makes sense now how some of you are using the original weights with xs belt and be in the rpm range.
Not here to stir the pot but rather wound like to learn more on this.. how are you guys running stock weights with MS16 and XS belt and be in the rpm range ?
My 240ss tune which runs in the high 14psi with stock weights, stock helix, Dalton secondary spring, xs belt and would way over rev.
I realized that while reading the instructions, that’s not what I’m saying. If I followed the template for the yamacat the mounting brackets were gonna be spaced out to much, I can’t remember exactly but it was around 3/16”-1/4” which would of caused the bag or tank to move around while mounted...
I’m not sure but all I’m saying is to check before you drill, I can’t remember the exact spacing of the holes on the template but if I used the template I got with the kit my bag or tank would be lose on the brackets once mounted.
I’ve said this before on another thread on here, the template that came with mine was not right and spaced too far apart. I placed the template onto a piece of wood and mounted the mounting brackets and that’s how I found out about the spacing being too wide. You can mount the mounting brackets...
