Agree 100% but people keep buying them so as a manufacture they will keep selling them at a crazy price. I am not sure what the answer is to stop the price raping.... Wish I had the magical solution but I don't....the only thing I can come up with is to stop buying but we all love the sport so...

Agree the 600 triple would be the better buy. Just make sure the owner has not done a bunch of after market stuff to the motor

I had a similar problem with my 7000. Never gave me a hint the battery was going bad. I shut it off to refuel and battery was dead. I was able to start it with my booster

On the Cat forum folks got excited to see the triple sticker and then found out it is the 1049.....to bad for us triple 2 stroke dreamers

Buy a 2 stroke. I got tired of all of the cold/hot start, backfire quirks with my ZR7000. My wife decided that she no longer wants to sled so I kept her ZR6000 for me and sold the 7000. My last sled trip it was -35 and the 6000 fired right up
