This weekend my sled showed 162 kph. Take it for what it is... I think the Nytro is geared slightly lower than the Vector.

Torsen springs I meant to say. My sled with no weight on it is fully up. Soon as I sit on it, it settles in place. If it sinks 8" and it only has 12" of travel that only leaves 4" of movement. Your #*$&@ and back are going to be shot. My friends Arctic Cat F8 we had to change out the torsen...

Clean your carbs and sync them. Put a new belt on it.

Japanese sleds had issues too. I just found that overall they were a better build sled over the long haul. This is the reason I still ride my RS Nytro.

I would be interested in a Yamaha powered Catalyst. It’s a sharp looking sled. Everyone is belly aching that it’s only coming with a 600 but I would be fine with that power. I just would rather ride a 4 stroke. 1049 would be fine if it ran a Japanese ecm. A snowmobile is useless if it won’t...

The days for Yamaha are numbered. Once Arctic Cat stops making the Procross, Yamaha is done. Thats my guess.

I greased that bearing too. I changed it out last summer. It was near its end of life but still ok. It is more of a pain to do but not too bad. More time consuming than anything. The speedo track bearing is only 20 bucks for the NTN. Not worth the effort to grease it for 20 bucks. Anytime you...

The donuts now come in a kit through Yamaha. Comes with a new stainless screw. The dealer said the new ones are different than what originally came on my sled. No idea what’s different but not too concerned. They were simple to change.

I'm not a huge fn of the re-grease method. I did this and the bearing failed. You don't know if its shot unless you pull it out or wait until it completely fails. I have video of me spinning the bearing once it was off my sled. Sounds horrible. It was re-greased every year. I just replaced that...

Those bearings need to be changed out somewhat regularly. When they fail things get expensive.

I just use Prestone 50/50 premix. Dump out the old stuff and fill with new.

I'm not sure if yours is exactly the same as mine but.... both my skid shocks were rebuildable.
