This is running in low snow conditions without scratchers. There is almost no snow in the skid. If you look at my other picture the skid is full of snow.
Scratchers make such a huge difference. Even if its -30C out I can get the overheat light to come on. The snow is so frozen its not getting thrown up on the exchangers. Also my sliders start to melt from the heat. You can smell them. Scratchers cure this. Scratchers also toss up gravel and grass...
Zoom in and you see how these kimpex ride in the snow. Loctite red and let them dry fully in a heated garage. This was on Saturday that was a mixture of various snow conditions. They kimpex ones have been on for 3000 kms with no issues.
If you have low snow, run scratchers. They make a huge difference. I run Kimpex cable style and they fling tons of snow in my skid. Thats some serious slider wear!!!!!
Bring your coolant cap along with you. You could match it up with their fittings in the store. Saves you a trip returning it, if there isnt one that fits.
I’m going to buy another Composit. Support an American company and a Canadian company that sold it to me.
How can Flett bring it in, then export to Canada, then a Canadian company imports a Russian made product? Both countries have Russian import and export rules since the invasion.

If you buy or rent a pressure testing kit they normally come with different fittings that attach to the coolant tank. I never have tried one on the my sled but on an old truck I did. I went to Parts Source here in Canada and borrowed the kit. I'm sure you can buy a kit off Amazon too.
I would look at used parts myself if on a budget. Try Barn of Parts. I've bought through them. It was a simple process and parts were shipped right away. Or maybe a local sled parting out guy???
I put 200 kms on it yesterday and another 100 today. Snug up the track tension when I got home yesterday. I’ll put some more miles on this week. 2870 kms on the sled this season… so far.
The track has significantly more traction than the Ripsaw. Acceleration and stopping. I hope to find some...
There are lots of people who have purchased poor Camso tracks. Lots of Polaris guys have not been happy with cobra tracks. I'll be running it and I'll give a report back on how well it holds up. I'm hoping it does a lot better than the Ripsaw 1.
I have to install it. I'll also will probably stud the track. Currently the ripsaw has 2,1,2,1... stud pattern. I think maybe I'll try two per window this time.
