Dalton QAY70 cut down to 68 grams for above 10k altitude. Bump on ramp cut off and leveled...
I would call Dalton and see which one of there 4 stroke weights runs best at your altitude http://www.daltonindustries.com/product_detail.php?product_id=70. I suggest the Barn Of Parts spring with 4mm of primary springs shims http://www.barnofparts.com/Soft-Start-Clutching.html. Thunder products...
Had an odd weekend last week where we went to a place we have gone before. This day it was warm and getting ready to snow and very wet in the air. Both our turbos I stopped and inspected even changed the belts as something seemed VERY wrong. Did nothing and went out yesterday and all is...
All my Viper tuning has been done with floats, but I can tell you for a fact both our XTX converted to MTX are as light in the front feeling as a 2014 M8 as I had one and tested against it. The video is correct decrease rear spring pressure first until it sits lower than it should and move back...
Check the rod from the turbo to the vacuum can. Needs to be a little pressure on it, if it rattles it needs adjustment. Any question PM me and I can give you my phone number
I run 10k and above and because of that I lightened the QAY 70 from 70 down to 68 by cutting off the back side. I run around 9200 on the 220 hp settings. If I was at sea level with 180 hp my guess would be 76 grams on these weights if that helps.
COTC settings usually do not equate with others kits due to the design. If you go with somebodies kit they should have numbers for you. And if you give up and go back to COTC MPI has 7 gram rivets to get enough weight.
Nope, soft spring slips when you hit deeper snow or hit it hard. Stiffer springs resists quick changes. Those of us with COTC have one of the stiffest springs with additional shims and have no belt slippage.
I actually bought the material to try this a year ago. But as I was test fitting it hit me WHERE AM I GOING TO GET AIR TO BLOW THROUGH THE ENGINE COMPARTMEN? If you think it is hot under there now block off that air and see how hot it gets.
Also, it was proven on the 2 stroke viper that...
Possible but the heavy spring and shims in the COTC were put in so belt slipping would not happen. Lightweight primary spring (stock) or heavy secondary spring are much more apt to slip the belt.
