Do you feel a 100HP sled will be fun off trail? We ride 90% off trail and I know it would blow goats with that HP level unless you were planning on putting around Bravo style.
and less power with the wonky exhaust, not to mention higher higher COG. Who knows though, maybe it will still out handle the Nytro and be faster. Wait to ride one and see.
Motor seems to be mounted pretty high in the chassis. Oil pan on a Nytro sits flush with the bottom of the front heat exchanger. Also, how the heck do they get the exhaust out of there?!?
That's a good summary. My Nytro MTX is Ok and I can make it go just about anywhere I want it to but..... I have to use a lot of body English and energy to get it there. I rode a new Pro RMK back to back and it's silly how easy it is to throw the sled around. There are still negatives to it, but...
Where's the little "leaked" photo to really get everyone worked up into a lather? Didn't they have one of the original Nytro with the skis half way out of the trailer? I hope they have a little fun with this, as long as its something substantial. A new 2 inch track after all this would be cruel.
No, I'm heading back to Ituna to visit my folks this weekend. If I were you, I would be tempted to ride the tree lines towards Smeaton. Stay on the North side of the highway and there are some really nice play areas if you are into boondocking.
Have you changed much with the gearing / clutching? My neighbor bought a High Country last week and is disappointed with the top end. Not too sure what he can realistically expect with the big track. Just curious what others are doing with them.
I'm just outside Saskatoon, but grew up in the Ituna area.
We ride from Saskatoon North when there's decent snow. Also head to Candle a couple of times a year and throw in a mountain trip if we can.
