A waste of your time and money maybe. Not for a lot of us. I’ve been riding boosted turbos for miles of smiles since 2011. I drove my sidewinder stock for a weekend. After 8 years of riding 260HP + stock power levels is not an option. The ONLY reason I buy turbo sleds is because I can tune them...

It's not a secret, and it's not one number for every sled. Get your measuring tools out...cut enough off the back of your secondary so you have just enough clearance to run it with one washer. Once that's done...go out and test, with various shims behind. measure belt temps, and find what works...

I have almost 2000 miles trail riding.. I know it's not much but conditions limited my riding this year. Heading north next week, should put another 1000 miles on. I think 61 was a complete guess that somehow gained traction...IMO people just picked a middle number of the recommended range.

I’ve blown one belt. And that was after many passes at max boost. Since adjusting alignment my clutches are as cool as any clutch I’ve ever felt. I have zero belt fear when riding.

I have a pretty good idea ;) I was only about 1 to 1.5 mph off on saturday. I have a much faster coat to wear now.

I’m gonna try and make it out for one day for the next event and put up some better speeds. I’ve been training my kids.. son (7) daughter (11) stepdaughter (13) stepson (16) to pilot my sled...so far the oldest is the best driver...but my youngest soooo much lighter and has the better tuck...

totally depends on conditions/traction. If on good ice, with good studs or very hard packed snow will little track spin..the speedo gets closer...once you start spinning...difference gets worse.

I find best results is to let tool connect with key on...but engine off. Once the dashboard loads up, thats when i start my sled. Couple times before using this method I would simply start sled, it would always connect...but sometimes i would miss a log.

Personally I'd recommend the TS BOV once you pass about 15 psi....many stock BOV leak...at various different levels of boost....whats another $150US in the grand scheme of things lol

not surprised at all that your seeing 17 on that map. 3" hyperflow flows very well, Turbo smart BOV does not leak. And your 3 bar sensor allowing you to read boost past the stock sensors limitations.

Max numbers on gauges not that helpful honestly. I’d rather look at a graph of complete run showing all parameters any day

I experimented with the stm 60Y as well. Now I’m back to Dalton’s. I know they don’t have the range of adjustment. But my sled likes the profile better I think, and I sure like the ease of adjustment

I put mine in an aqua box on a ram mount above gauges. Works ok...but touch screen doesn’t work through garmin aqua box. I usually just keep it in my pocket and check logs when testing. When trail riding, looking at boost and afr not really that important to me. BUT I am thinking about ordering...

I saw something similar when i tried to flash sled while battery had low voltage. Think i had 16 codes. Make sure battery voltage is 12v. Clear codes, and flash the new map and try it out.

on the dalton site it says for extra $25 they will custom cut any angle you want.

I know ya posted it somewhere in this thread, but I can’t find it. What’s the details on that phone holder. I bought a garmin aqua box that seals up great...but I have to open it every time I want to use the touch screen. Pretty annoying
