I would like to raise the bars and the seat on my 08 Ltx Gt. I guess I could live with my seat height if it was firm. Ideally I would like my seat at least 2" taller and the bars 4-6" higher. Can I raise them that much without lengthening the cables. Can I reroute them safely and if so does...

I have a brand new black with blue trim Apex cover with the white cloth undercover and it is tight. Really tight. My old cover for my 07 was tight, which is good, but the new one for my 08 is tighter. It is tightest in the handle bars, width wise. The sled is stock. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi. I'm thinking of trimming the flap on my 08 Ltx Gt. It keeps tucking under when I back up. Will this have any ill effects such as decreased lube to the sliders or cooling? I'm thinking more snow out the back might mean less build up in the tunnel too. Thanks.
