I have been debating for months wether or not to trade my apex in on a viper....which in my opinion is a better handling, better riding machine...the question always becomes...can my ego handle going to a 600 class machine...as I get older...I keep telling my self I don't need the hp or speed...

This was Calumet Michigan yesterday.....a friend of mine who lives up there said some places had 3 plus feet of new snow!!!...Terrible to drive in...zero visibility...still blowing and snowing up there today (winds 30 to 50 MPH)...the Keweenaw is getting hammered!!!

DO IT!!!! I now have just over 500 miles on my XTX....and can't stop smiling....don't listen to the critics, IMO..the 2011 or newer Apex's are MUCH better machines than the 06-2010 apex's...they handle flatter, corner with ease (EPS is awesome)...and ride better. Engine wise...the new ones...
