So code 36 started popping up after I switched to a canister style filter. I noticed it was sucking alot of moisture and running like shiz. Switched back to the trusty K&N and still battled the code off and on all day.
Sled would run fine up to 3/4 throttle. At full throttle the sled would...
So my driveshaft bearing starting going out and I was limping it home real slow. Not much spray being kicked up. All the sudden the sled would die and it would flash the temp light, yellow warning light, and two icons: temp icon and the one to the left that I believe refers to the electrical...
So I noticed oil around the wastegate side of my boost controller line. It had a loose fitting and was blowing oil out. Then I noticed oil being blown out of the two lines off the top of the intercooler. They were also loose and blowing oil out. Don't see any external oil leaks.
Does this...
So help me out here. When I turn the key (not start it) the fuel pumps run & pressurize, is that correct? I have the secondary fuel pump installed as well. What do the injectors inside the plenum do (before starting), anything?
Reason I ask, is the 4 MCX injectors are making a god aweful...
I had my tank off, completely drained the fuel and then put it back on. Now my guage is saying the tank doesn't have any fuel, when it has 5 gallons in it. The fuel guage flashes, the yellow warning light is on and it's reading as if it's empty, but is definitely half full. Any ideas?
Need to order some, wondering the correct length. Looking at these...

They have 15mm (3-5mm panel) or 16.8mm (5-7mm panel).
Anyone know? Don't have my sled with me to measure.
Lately my sled has no bottom end to it. 06 mcx turbo apex. Just put in 66g dalton weights with 2 17.2mm rivets. Would these bigger weights kill the bottom end snap that much? Seems like it doesn't even build boost until 8000 rpms. I used to be able to quickly wick the throttle and it would set...
I'm installing the one piece hood, removing my stock headlights and running PIAA's. My question is how I wire up my stock guage pod now that I no longer have the headlights. There are two plugs coming off the headlights and guages and wires from the guage plug go into both plugs. Can anyone...
I'm having this 'discussion' with a friend. If my boost guage is zero'd when the sled is off and at idle it reads around -3 to -5lbs which is the starting point for reading the boost level? The reading at idle or when the sled is off?
Using the above reference if my guage reads 10lbs at wide...
I was recommended a big air filter kit for my MCX rear mount apex that replaces the smaller filter. From what I understand it routes the filter outside of the plastic exhaust cover. Vernon Motorsports has these. Any buy one? Wondering on cost and if anyone has the specs to make my own kit.
My MCX apex ran spot on with the 12lbs mapping, but since I've had it remapped for 17lbs its real boggy. Sometimes off idle when I get on it, it bogs so bad it just bogs out (sometimes dies) and I have to get out of the throttle and chop it a bit to get it cleaned out. It also has some popping...
I decided to run my 03 Polaris one day this spring and I was shocked how light and nimble it felt compared to my apex. I didn't realize how much more I had to work the apex compared to my Polaris. Anyone else not like their apex on spring snow? I mean they kick fugging #*$&@ in deep or soft snow...
I just got my 310hp fuel pump, however the instructions are too dark to see what's going on. Can anyone describe to me how to hook it all up including where to tap in for power? If anyone has a closeup pic of theirs installed that would help a ton.
Thanks
Tom
I have my boost guage zero'd when the sled is off. At idle it reads a vacumm of -5. So when I'm reading how much boost I am running, if it's at -5 at idle and wide open its at 10 am I running 15 lbs boost? or do you base the boost off the reading when the sled is off or the reading at idle?
