Great time, seeing kids learning to carve, friends over the holidays, and enjoying the outdoors...We managed to find some great snow, but had to search...

Doing the happy dance, our local resort is opening for turkey Day, and has a good base where we do most of our sledding.... :jump: :-o :-o :jump:

Snow has already begun its migration to the north country....we had one of our first sizable snow falls two weeks ago (up high)... I know it is hard to imagine with the drought in the flatland...but it is true... Got a pic of some tweaks being done to my sled, gonna be nice...looking...

Getting ready for hunting season....Elk Gettin golf swing back in alignment....which means back is out of alignment :) Honey Do's....with a wife who has horses....means back is even more out of alignment... Little Quadding.... Some backcountry Horseback riding...

Unbelievable time with OFT, Otis, Sonds, and Hugger... Great group of guys, good riders, and phenomenal food!!!! what more could one ask for? how about blue bird, and untouched snow? those will have to suffice, as the sled season is...

Should be good times....10" new last night...more on the way...but as you all know powder in spring is concrete by noon....however, we are sledding, eating and hanging with friends...[/u]

Snow patterns have produced plenty o snow....now the sled has an arrival date!!!!!! Could not be more stoked!!!!

We lost another rider in the hills in Cooke...Very weak base layer, and several feet of new snow made it treacherous to just be out... If you don't have people who KNOW the terrain, and know the conditions, no ride is worth it!!! Please be careful out there boys!!! Here is quote from...

Sled was delivered today...the tear down begins....only to be followed by the rebuild :) Woohoooo!!!!!

As we all get our sleds together, and excited for the season, keep in mind that the conditions over the next 6. Weeks really dictate how dangerous certain slopes will be all year... For instance, we have gotten some good snow falls, but then the warming started...which melted a lot, but north...
