That is the shock to get. The rebound adjustment lets you really dial in your ride.

I have one of these and have yet to install it. I wonder if reflective tape would be a solution? I would hope that Dave would address this issue. Maybe if everyone you had a failure would send in a photo of the failed part it would force his hand.

For me, it is hard to get away from the power and reliability of the 4 stroke, especially a 998. I have a chance to ride 850's every now and then and they seem like slugs after getting off a 998. If you ride tight trails all day, then I can see the allure of some thing lighter. It all depends...

Not sure, I don't run handguards. My buddies stock Cat handguards work though.

Mine was fine all year. Then, this week I trailered with a full tank- as I always do- and got some seepage. I tightened all the screws and will try to ride again this Friday, hopefully no more leaks. I may have to reseal all the screws. That is a 12 month season......

The color is easy to change. Duplicolor spray dye. Works great. I suck at painting anything and even I did a good job!!

I ride with a 24 9000RR, nice suspension package for sure. The RR was the real deal.

Look for a 4 stroke Riot seat as well. They had mountain seats. I don't know how many years, if any, the mountain seats came with heat. worse comes to worse, you can install a cheap heated seat pad in a non heated seat, easy to do.
