Been riding an Attak for 10 years, RX1 before that. What should I look at as far as the Viper goes? Budget will prob keep me in a 2015. Will I need to check things on a particular sled? What are the "must do" up grades / fixes? Im a do it yourselfer! Thanks for any imput!

Blew a fuse yesterday on the guages. Figured Id just check at the next stop about 15 min away. But after maybe 5 minutes?... engine shut down. I found the fuse and replaced it, all was well. I assume there is an engine shut down for no guages? Anyone?

relay I had this happen yesterday too. It was the relay. My whole engine compartment was frosted. I took out the relay and warmed it up, started right up.

OH yeah, I did replace the lower one on both my sleds. I just greased the jackshaft bearing. I will replace them also in the spring as they were pretty clean, just not much grease in there. They dont get all the water in them like the lower one does.... Thanks

Just bought this sled . Carbs were dirty. Cleaned them up. She ran great. Did 40 miles on Friday. Then Saturday after only 8 miles it started reving up high by itself and back fires. If you get right on it it seem ok. No warning lights or anything, oil, temp ok. Towed it home to be safe...

wires I know the RX1 had wire chaffe problems in serveral places.- same chassis as RS. I had one with my RX which was up in the nose where the wire harness went through the metal bracket that holds then nose together in front of the tool box. I have read about others in the frame area where...

OK so obviously a chunck of ice ripped the cable out. I got a new one installed but seems to me it will happen again? 1.Any mods to help with this? 2. Looks to be no cable ties used? Anyone tried cable ties?
