I ended up with scuff marks from a hoof on the nose of my SXR 700 when I crested a hill at night and surpized a bunch of deer. All I could do is grab a handfull of brake and see white tails scatter!
Just got back from a weeks stay near St.Zenon, great trails and great people (these people know how to PARTY!) Definately a great snowmobile destination if you have never been. It was interesting to see how popular atv's are there in the winter, as they have there our separate trail system...
I loosened off all the fastners on the nose cone then assembled the plastics. It was still a tight fit, but after a couple of rides it got easier to put on. Try trimming the edges of the center plastic and applying some automotive type finish strip.

I mounted a Phazer tool box backwards at the end of the tunnel and then stripped the plastic housing off the light and mounted it to the end of the Phazer box. I will try to get a picture on the weekend.
Just a heads up that there are two different mounting styles of side deflectors for the Nytro. The 2010 FX factory deflectors have 2 mounting holes and only fit the 2010 FX windshield. The Yamaha acc. deflectors are a 3 hole mount and fit the rest of the sleds windshields. Anybody's guess why...
From experience, do yourself a favour and pick up a Phazer either 2 or 4 stroke. Learning to ride on the Nytro is a accident waiting to happen, as it wont be "if" but "when" things go bad. I had a close call once when I asked my wife to move my Warrior after fueling at a gas station (she rode a...
I think I remember seeing a Vector motor in a Phazer that Yamaha R&D did a couple of years ago.... they where gettitng ready to start the Nytro series of sleds :Rockon:
