You are right, the projectors are way less annoying to oncoming traffic as the "cutoff line" is very sharp which allows you to aim them at the right height. They throw way much more light on the trail as the light output of HID bulbs is much higher and the projectors distribute light much more...
The projectors I used are Morimoto Mini H1. The Retrofit Source sells them and has excellent customer service. A Morimoto D2S projector could also be used with the Phazer/Nytro as they also have the adapter plate for H4 bulbs. Angel eyes come from the same source. Install is pretty easy : pop...
Has anyone heard from UP bushman lately? I tried emailing him but I keep receiving delivery failure notifications saying that the account doesn't exist.
Lots of work for me this summer.
Maintenance :

- New carbides
- New hyfax
- New belt
- Replace brake lever switch
- Oils
Mods :

I hit a rock a few weeks ago and screwed the subframe, both left a-arms and the left knuckle. The right side is also a bit sloppy since the bushings are a little worn out. I also need to replace one tie-rod. Considering that the Barkbuster front end includes everything, is 765$ and that I have...
Wow!! I really wish we had so many nice sleds like these available around here... and at these prices!!
I considered looking below the border but bringing back a sled here would be a real PITA...
I would have take a drive to see and buy the sled then advise US customs 72 hours in advance for...
The rail extension is made by ASMI here in Quebec. They are known for being well made and sturdy. I honestly don't know much for the axle setup. I was also skeptical at the beginning but the guy has been running this setup for the last two seasons without any problem so I wouldn't be too...
Went to see it in person yesterday and I'd say that overall the sled looks pretty good. The seller even dropped the price to 6000. There are some minor things to fix like worn bushings in the front a-arms and a minor bend in the front bumper. Everything else in the front suspension looks good. I...
I came across a used nytro in the classifieds but I'm totally new to the nytro world. I think this machine may be a good deal as the sled only has 5200km (3200mi) and the seller asks 6500CA$. I want to go take a look at it this weekend but before I spend the gas and time to take the drive I have...
Re: headlights
I put the CCFLs on mine and I didn't have a problem yet in 500 km. However, if I had to do it again, I'd go with Morimoto XB LED angel eyes as they are more reliable and have less stuff that can fail.
I just tried the bungie cord trick and it seems to work just fine!! No more snow in the airbox. I may drill a hole in the airbox too later cause there is ice buildup in the front portion.
Thanks for the help greenthumb!
Has this happened to any of you in the past? I was riding in deep powder (2ft) today and after maybe 10-15 min of carving in the pow the engine began making strange noises like it was going to die. I opened the airbox and it was full of snow and water. the rubber gasket around the airbox seems...
I don't think there will be any heat problem. These projectors use standard H1 HID bulbs and the hi/lo shield (bi-xenon) is operated by a small solenoid. They don't produce any more heat than standard HID bulbs. Many people use these projectors to retrofit even smaller sealbeams so I don't...
I was really disappointed with the phazer's light output so I decided to install a PNP HID kit. It was way brighter but I still wasn't happy with the rectangle shaped beam and lack of hi/lo beams so I decided to go the projector way!
I opened up the sealbeam.
Installed angel eyes and...
