I changed mine tonight, the belt cover says 6.9 ounces. 7 ounces took it to the rev mark. Should I put the other 1.5 ounces in?

    2013 vs 2014 xtx 1.75

I'm pretty sure there is not one thing different except for the graphics, oh by the way this sled ripppppppppppppppps with that track. I trade wins with all of the crossover 800 sleds out there!;)

Considering to upgrade to a Nytro

The 1.75 track works great on the trail, I wouldn't want any other track for trail riding.

Considering to upgrade to a Nytro

I have to agree with you on this, love the grunt and with the 1.75 track it hooks up crazy. They pull 2 stroke sleds very well too!;)

    Kill switch delete

I have the OFT tether/rollover valve too for my Nytro, it also comes with a kill switch bypass (delete). I would assume it's the same for the Viper.

    XTX 09 broken front shock

Good that's where mine were too, after the second shock Yamaha told the dealer to figure out why it broke.

    XTX 09 broken front shock

The dealer put the washers that are suppose to go on the bolts of the skis they put on the shock bolts which made the eyes of the shock where you bolt it up to tight which would not let it pivot freely. Just make sure you don't have any washers on your shock bolts, just the bolt and nut. Hope...

    XTX 09 broken front shock

This happened to me on my 2013 xtx, when the dealer put it together they put the ski washers on the shocks so they couldn't pivot in return broke the shafts. About the same miles as you. Since new shocks were put on the right way I now have 3100 problem free miles on. P.S. It is a skidoo pulling...

    love my nytro!!!!

I have the same sled as you, I see 95-96mph on average and have seen 101mph a couple times holding it, its bone stock and it just keeps getting faster the more miles you get on it. I have 3100 on it now. I find 2 stroke 800's to be boring compared to this.:4STroke:
