When I bought HIDs from Rock, he was super helpful with recommendations. I can't remember what color I went with but he talked me through that. There are colors that go through falling snow better than others. His lights are incredible.
WTB - seat concepts seat for procross chassis. It seems seat concepts discontinued this. Figured it's a long shot but I thought I'd put a post on here. Thanks.
There was a 4 stroke update in development that textron stopped. How far along it was I don't know. Whether that was going to use yamaha or some kind of textron engine I don't know either. Yamaha was frustrated by lack of development and by lack of production from textron. Heidi with textron had...
That's the way it should be.
If textron did indeed kill or sour the yamaha deal, I wonder if someone at yamaha would turn down the opportunity for their dealers to have yamacats again going forward. I think it was a good deal for cat, and wasn't bad for yamaha until textron couldn't produce...
Hope you are right. In my view their new chassis is solid, just needs some refinement that textron wouldn’t fund, and I’m still hopeful they’d want to continue yami powered 4 strokes in something
The one from CKX seemed to hold up better than some others I've tried. I may try that magnetic one.
We're on and off our sleds a lot so the cords are a pain but no fog is kind of nice too!
I'm going to be going through my sled in the next couple days (behind schedule this year but there's little snow anyway). If time permits I'm going to try to install the BOP bearing. It looks fairly straight forward to install but I'm a bit nervous about getting it all together right.
Wishful thinking but maybe with the announcement being out a year they'll find some way to stay in the business. I assume Cat doesn't have plans for their engine in the next chassis (or 4 stroke adaptation). There were rumors about Poo but that must not have worked out either. If maybe it was...
I bought this awhile back and am hoping to install it this weekend before putting the sled away.
Maybe it's obvious once
I bought this back in January and am hoping to install it this weekend before putting the sled away.
Maybe it's obvious once you get working on it - but is putting the...
I'm not familiar with all the yamaha engines mentioned on here but it would be great if they could find a way to do something like the doo 900 4 stroke. Light weight, decent power, efficient.
Had a belt blow on a fusion once. I had the updated voltage regulator mounted on the belt guard, where it was supposed to. But a Polaris dealer who worked on the sled had the harness ran in such a way there was no slack. The snapped belt bent out the belt guard and destroyed the wiring harness...
Cat will have the bigger bore 2 stroke for 24. At some point I'd guess they'd have a 4 stroke in a modified chassis, when that will happen and if Yamaha is involved - who knows?
