My 07 fx came with the little screen... but I also got the medium (same as the GT and MTX). they all (including the tall) use the same bracket.
Any of the other screens (low and/or designer), you'll need to get the alternate mounting brackets.

Because the box sucks... hitting rough trails last year the lid on mine would come loose (never came off) and let snow in. I didn't realize what happened, when I went to clean things up, a couple weeks later, and took the lid off, all my tools were rusted and sitting in water. :o|
The bag...
My tunnel is now closed - dealer installed. Rear (large) hole only. I had yamaha install the side panels last season, and that did keep the boards from icing but the amount of ice in the tunnel was unbearable.
I kept the side panels in the front but had the rear ones removed. Figure it may...
Talking to my dealer about that last week... he says they have to tap into the wiring harness somewhere (wasn't specific). But did say that you shouldn't just go from the battery on the phazer for some reason.
If anyone has any further info on this, I would appreciate it as well.
spindle differences
Hey guys, I'm usually posting on the phazer side, but I read your posts all the time (yeah I want a FX Nytro!) learning everything I can about this sled, good and bad. Anyway you ask for a comparison on the spindles, so here it is....
There are lots of obvious...
YES! I would buy again, never had a sled that was as much fun as this. I have a little over 1000 miles on mine and they have been free of any serious issues. I've experienced the same annoyences that everyone else has, in particular, the icing problem, but that's getting taken care of. It's...
I finally got my sled over to the dealer for the steering recall and they are really taking care of their customers that bought a Phazer. Here's what they are doing.
Steering recall.
Enclosures in the front to prevent snow from entering and freezing.
Radiator Fan.
08 rear suspension link...
Ah man... that sucks, you've been waiting a long time to get that thing in the snow. I guess your alright though, that's good.
Knock on wood... have had no incidents with mine, came close a couple of times.
I haven't seen too many stretched phazers posted. Your options are kind of limited. the only track available is the 136" freeride unless you go with the artic cat (think it's the sno-pro) track, but I think that is only 13.5"(?).
If my plans work out for next summer, I may stretch mine...
IMO the phazer clutching is pretty good out of the box, and for a lot of folks would be good enough. But for those of us that want that little extra out of the hole, or on the top, the factory setups always leave a little, or a lot to play with.
I have the Ulmer clutch setup. If you go to...
The tunnel protectors that yamaha sells are made from 1" (or about) square aluminum tubing and have a bend in the front to partially protect the heat exchanger, and also have a bevel at the back to match the tunnel profile. My dealer had some made before yamaha had the "oem" ones available and...
Welcome aboard!...
The track isn't fully clipped on these, so it's probably were he rubber and the slides touch would gett hotter and melt quicker than the clips on the slides. If you have to ride ice or hard pack a lot or for long runs you might want to consider clipping the rest of the...
