Currently running a raptor spring and after riding my 800 RR through the ditches I was convinced that front track shock on my tcat was garbage so I grabbed this one, and some other stuff from cats close out sale

Since its a canister...
So I have stock gearing with a dmc upper gear that has about 5k of miles on it. I've always liked this setup as I cruise at 90 with 1/3 throttle input and tuned.
I'm considering changing the gearing. I put in an order for an 84p chain and was going to go 21/38 but I'm reconsidering it. I saw...
So in the off season now I'm going over stuff and it appears my belt tension was a bit off with my pb80 this season on the tcat.
So after doing a bunch of research again and learning about setting belt tension and old conversation stuck in my brain. When I was talking with one of the thunder...
So with cat going through what ever they are going through I figure this may be a decent thing for making stuff.
Over the winter I lost my reverse button switch. It was roughly 50 bucks to replace it from cat so I got it and started roughly modeling it it up. It's flat on one side and doesn't...
Hurricane bundle tune.
In my entire lifetime of owning this thing I have hit less than 10 red flashes. Mostly do to octane and probably over aggressive weights. Forgot my boostane at the lodge today so it's a half throttle day today.
Is anyone else tempted to pick up a backup or a backup of a backup with some of the prices that are out there?
Seen them down to the low sixes if not lower.
I mean the wife is going to ride some day with us rite?!?!?
Anyone found a better pad than the standard cat pad? I've not been able to get full lock up at higher speeds and I believe I'm just overloading the aftermarket pads I haven't run the car pads in years but from what I recall they were actually decent.
Spendy though
Does anyone know how this engine and when it was developed at big blue?
My guess is it was right around 2014 when they agreed with Cat, but what were some of the decision points by the team to go with a turbo? I still remember watching the launch videos but they didn't go into much detail on...
Coming from a tcat with a 1" ripsaw. Never seem to have any traction, even with 4 studs/bar Friend has 1.25 takeoff that looks fine and is a good price.
I primarily trail ride in almost all conditions and have always wondered if the extra 1/4" is a big improvement.
Finally got out with junior this season. Got a whole 30+ miles in and the trails were great considering it's the end of March and snow was going fast. Glad I got my fix in for the season.
Anyways, the 998 got no miles on it this season. I didn't want to risk an overheat but even that 800 has...
Post em if you got em
Finally grabbed the Franklin arsenal rotary tumbler from Cabela's for a out 190 with magnet.

Wish I would have done this years ago. Those three bins were all done today and...
I have never seen one of these on the trail but have seen the astronomical prices they commanded about ten years ago.
I also saw when they first came out and Yamaha had some fun videos of them pushing balls around. It's often called the first rider forward sled and it does look like it. The...
I've seen the 1/8" value states for ever but how people measure that is beyond me, but it usually states the following
Pick two points and then subtract the values. You should get 1/8".
Me being me and realize this is just a triangle and we are just measuring the height. Well that angle at...
And it's been like ten years since she last rode and swore off riding. This may or may not have been due to low snow conditions where I should have turned around. Junior convinced her to come riding on the lake this year so hopefully she will.make it to the trails.
Anyways, we got three sleds...
So last year I picked up a set of used ca skis. They aren't the razors or the xpt's but an older less aggressive and came with a set of four inch carbides.
Typically I run 8 or 10" carbides due to my stud qty and I figured I would need a longer set after taking it out but to my surprise the...
