I attended a funeral this weekend for a friend killed riding his sled. Its the second funeral I've attended that alcohol may have contributed to the accident. Whether he was impaired or not, I don't know. Its bad enough he got killed, it made it worse when they mention about the alcohol...

What seems to be the going rate for Yamaha RX and Apex filters? Four stroke oil? Two stroke oil? Faxes? Just keeping the dealer honest. :exc:

Trying to get the back bottom bracket attached to the rails with the grease zerk out. Problem is the shaft inside spins and the bolt doesn't come out when the other one is loose. That grease zerk is leaking and I'd like to get it welded. Any recommendations?

There has been some talk lately about sleds with several miles on them. What ever happened to the '03 and '04 RX sleds that the guy in Vermont rode that had 10,000 and 12,000 miles on them? I heard they got traded in. Did Yamaha buy them back to tear them down and look them over? Did someone...

I was told by a few dealers that almost all sleds ordered for '04 and '05 were mainly ER models. Guess thats why all but the RTX have reverse standard for '06.

For those of you who don't like scratched up paint on the footwells of the new GT, maybe have spray in bedliner like they use for pickups sprayed in the footwell area.

I'm glad I didn't get too excited.

Some of you have gotten the 13 mm swaybar to help corner flatter. My dealer gave me updated swaybar links for my '03. Does this help a lot, some, or not at all.

Pulled that lousy screw out, stripped the soft head on it. Got a screwdriver under the fax, took the Vise-Grip and peeled it off right through the windows. And my neighbor said it couldn't be done. He pulled the suspension out.

I didn't see the plug for the chaincase so I could drain it. I can't get one of the bolts on the sidepanel off so I could only see part of the chaincase cover and tried to get my hands in there to feel where the plug is. Or do you have to pull the housing off and change it that way?

The Polaris Fusion has adjustable handlebars. By the looks of the picture the bars go from front on back up to six inches and seven different settings. It would be nice to see risers do the same.

I've been looking at some other insurance companies for homeowners, auto, etc. Some of the companies will not insure the sleds. Unfortuneately, these companies also have had the best rates for everything else. Are there any companies that insure sleds even if you don't have anything else...

Black enclosed Floe trailer. Yamaha decal on side and the back of the trailer reads "speed kills." Anybody on the site own this?

It was good to be up the Michigan Wisconsin border this weekend. The temps were very cool and some of the leaves are changing color.
