To check them shouldn't be that bad to see if in spec but if they need to be shimmed that's the time consuming part

shock i sent mine to pioneer with my wieght and riding style they changed the spring and valving. didnt notice much difference. at the time i didnt know about the clip. i would definitely try that first. im not bashing pioneer great service. .

definately not running on all 4 put fresh gas and change plugs. then go from there. check the exuast donuts as well.

not to but in but when the exaust donuts go wouldnt you hear an exaust leak? the only reason i say is because mine also has 3k miles first ride this year arround the driveway mine backfired couple times when i let off the throttle. (new fresh gas) put in some gas line antifreeze took it on 100...

no spanner wrench for adjustments . but you can compress the spring and move a clip to get more preload. pretty easy to do..

powermadd has a 2 inch pivot riser, works great about 50 bucks..

a friend of mine did the same thing turned out being bad dipstick sensor. try exchanging one from another sled, if possible. i think he said they were about 60 bucks.

just send the shock to pioneer. just got mine back 180.bucks revalve and spring got it back less than 2weeks.

take the switch out of the rtx and try it in the other one. only takes a few minutes.

09 dont know about the rear exchanger but i thought i read that the engine got a lighter crank. the rider position moved forward. handlebars moved forward. maybe someone else could say for sure..

wich plugs should i be using? 06 apex er? just fouled cr10ek this weekend couldnt get running. would a cr9ek be any better. thanks
