I had a 95 triton 10' trailer and it was tight but it fit. I had to put an eye hook in front and one in the back of the trailer so I could put tie-downs to the sled. If I did not do this the sled would hit the back if it moved more than an inch.
Also put a 2x4 on the floor in the front...
Re: Delano Sports Center
I do need to give in if they stop getting me unstuck!!!
In the powder it handled great, climbing was tough though. Lots of trenching. When the snow setup, very hard to carve but climbed fine. Funny part was 1st trip out west this year I rode m1000 162". 2nd...
Delano Sports Center
I live in western suburbs and shopped around and they matched the price of a sled I found cheap up north. Really great guys to deal with, so much so I ended up using the dealer as criteria in picking out my next sled.
Highly recommend them.
I never thought I would...
I use a gortex shell and a bunch of different weight layers from Cabellas. I have 2 thin, 2 medium, and 1 heavy. These work well since they pack small, allows you to bring dry gear and gives ability to change throughout the day.
Have had good luck with these - Cabela's E.C.W.C.S...
I ended up grinding them down VERY carefully.
As a matter of fact, I got to do it twice!!! I put a rock through the heat exchanger early in the season and insurance replaced it. We were out making our own trails and getting lost in the woods when it happened. After we noticed the leak...
Last year I took my XTX out west and rode between 10-11,000 ft.
Back Country
Extroverts
Curnves XS Skiis
Set clutch to what Yamaha recommended for that altitude.
I weigh 275
I was only getting 8100 rpms on a flat packed lake, definetly needed to change gearing and more than just...
Probably the right thing to do if you catch it early. Decision gets harder when you have made half the changes already.
If I only knew then what I know now! :o|
I can definitely hear more engine noise but it did not bother me. My helmet is pretty open so I can hear pretty well.
I have the Yamaha skid plate and I have to take out the 4 bottom screws to get at the filter.
Talk to Scott at OFT, I think he can help you out with the extension and more.
I was going to do the same thing to mine but my father-in-law bought a second mountain sled and I can rent that real cheap.
I did just take my xtx and rode at 10-11,00 ft. I did learn a few things that may...
I guess I do not need to know any more! My father-in-law bought a second mountain sled for his wife to ride every other year on the trip when the wives go.
Anyway, he told me to just keep my sled since I like it so much around here and the UP. He will rent the new sled to me for $100 a...
Thinking about selling my 09 XTX and no clue what is an appropriate price.
I was searching through the classifieds and saw a few other XTX for sale but they were so differently modified or were in Canada.
1,800 miles
4 years left on Yamaha warranty
Both Rockmeister hand warmer updates...
Don't think he would like our boat either, our Malibu is for making wakes. We use it for Hydrofoiling.

My wife lets me buy my sled stuff so I don't complain when she needs new ski gear. Sad thing is now I sit in the boat in the...
