Srxspec, do you have to change the water after a few runs? I used a cooler last year and had to change the water 2-3 times each race day.

Quick disconnects are from HPE. 3/4 inch and made by CPC(colder product corp.) They are there just hidden. Water with some water wetter works better than normal antifreeze mix for transfer of heat and if something breaks on the dragstrip you only have to clean up water not antifreeze.

What do you think? Around 150.00 to make, works great, used it to cool my sled at the track 9 times and she was still going strong.

People have told me to run the older belt like for the 600vmax or the gates ultimax2 138-4432. Says they are softer and grip better and dont generate as much heat. any truth to this?
