re My gytr ultra q did the very same thing and my dealer said I was lucky I didn't melt the plastic in back. He saw several problems with these not holding up. If its from Yamaha as in gytr, they will warrantee the muffler.

re It's not just the 2009. My 2010 did it as well and the dealer did fix it as well as two wheels. I asked my dealer if this was common and he said not if your riding in enough snow. I guess 24+ isn't enough.

re I would recommend the lake effect supply riser as it also pivots and has a ram mount for gps or any future updates. They also have them in different color combos.

re Yes the phaser/ nytro kit are for both and they do work better than stock. The stock is softer and fits looser as stated before.
