I asked this question awhile ago and was told over 17psi and you'll be pushing it. I suppose elevation and compression is gonna play a part as well.
There are tons of Impulse Nytos out there running 17psi above 6,000' on pump fuel, I have had my stock motor on 17psi for three years with no...
Thank you Dave... Are you against using CP pistons in a build? I don't like how much heavier the JE pistons are compared to stock and CP's are even lighter yet. I want this motor to be as responsive as I can get it since I came from a Nytro motor and it's gonna be a mountain sled. If I get it...
That has to be dry with no turbo doesn't it? I think with the whole Diamond S titanium front clip and tunnel you only loose like 40lbs. Not sure if you loose anything with there side plates
Wow that is impressive... What elevation/fuel is that? Do you run it at that boost regularely or is that just a few times? I am curious what I could run on a regular basis at 9-11,000' safely.
Thanks

My understanding is that the four holer only weighs 8 pounds more then the 3 holer. So that is about all your gaining someone correct me if I am wrong. In that case put the Apex motor in and a lithium battery that saves ten pounds and have a sled with bullet proof apex motor and be two pounds...
