Will a lower A arm from a 2008 Nytro RTX fit on a 2009 Nytro XTX? I destroyed the lower a arm due to the dreaded ball joint and found a used one but I am unsure if it fits. Any knowledge would be appreciated.
Thanks guys. Just thought it was time for a change. I did contemplate the Viper but just thought it was time to head back to a 2 stroke seeing Yamaha didn't and hasn't come out with anything that has quite caught my interest.
And I dont know if I would consider any sled out there right now...
I had Hygear revalve and rebuild my shocks this year. They lasted for roughly 700 miles. The keeper on the front shock spring got destroyed within 500 miles. They sent me new ones. Then went out after I fixed the front shock and blew the canister out of the rear shock. Literally looked like...
Thanks guys. I know the deal with the Isolfelx and all that good stuff. I got the XRS because of the extra support that the chassis provides. Going to the dealer tomorrow and getting her done..
and Ill still hang around but my 09 XTX is gonna be a backup sled in 2015. I have 6500 miles on it and the only issues it ever gave me was the rear suspension. I will be giving Doo a try for 2015 and going with an 800 XRS. With a 4 year warranty, its hard not to give it a try. Just looking...

Thanks a ton man! Just hoping to get an idea of how difficult this might actually be. I would love to have the extra 45 ponies on tap
I am looking at the MPI 180 for my Nytro. I ride all trails in NY/Tug Hill area. I am hoping to get my Nytro to turn into a wheelie/awesome corner to corner machine. I have looked at the turbo's as well but in NY i have to stick with a stock exhaust or I will be getting fines and tickets for...
I stand corrected then. That damn announcer was a d-bag then and didnt know what the hell he was talking about. I swear on my life he said 660' but glad someone cleared it up. Sorry bout the misinformation
I was also there. I am pretty sure that 118 MPH was in 660'. The prepped Cat was pushing 330 horses on the dyno. Correct me if I am wrong.
Out of all the sleds the most impressive....the Vector. Beat the F1100 NA by 10 seconds.
Saw or press them out. I had to cut the old plastic bushing out with a hacksaw blade. Hopefully I dont need to replace these anytime soon because I'm sure they will be a bear to get out. Pressing them out would even be a chore.
Just installed the Ulmers Kit this past weekend.
I just pulled the plastics, removed the shocks, disconnected ball joints, and removed a arms. The new bushings are a very very tight fit. If you dont have one, you should look at using a press to install them. Thats what I did and all went...
Just ordered a set of X-click from Hiperf.com and got a set of spring spacers from Hygear. Try this first then we'll see what happens....
Any other info on questions 1 or 2??
I read through his thread last night. Quite the amount of detail. I printed out his settings and figured out using them as a baseline.
I was just looking around and may invest in the X-click's and Spring spacers. See if that might help my cause.
Hey guys. I bought an 09 XTX new and have been manhandling it for two years but am now tired of getting beat to chit on the rides. I would like to see if you guys can give me some input on a few questions:
1. I do not have much experience with tuning suspensions. Motors I can wrench on...
