So this is my first sled and I would like to hear what others do to summerize their machine. I figured fuel stabilizer and oil change and start it up every couple weeks. I'm also planning on putting on a CE this summer, does having the sled/track sit on concrete for several months do any damage?
I'm planning on putting a CE on for next year. I sure hope it makes a sizable difference. My buddys all have summits so that hill climb vid is something I live out every day out. The deeper it gets the bigger the gap.
Has anybody else dealt with this? I keep getting error code 12 when I try to start the sled ( 08 mtx) the first time. error code 12 is the crankshaft sensor. Moving primary doesnt help. Warming the sled up does the trick though as in the sun or with a heater. So I was thinking it is a cold issue...
I was wondering the same Phazer boy. My stock '08 nytro SUUCKS! in the pow. Is a new track going to make a big difference? Havent seen many used CE or PC for sale is there a better place to look than this site?
I braced mine up front at first with a piece of flat bar which bent on the first ride. I've replaced it with 3/4" square tubing which is working very well.
Roest plate has been great. It does pick up snow up by the A arms and I could see it getting bent if the front of the plate isnt bolted. '08 nytros dont have the reinforcing plate to mount to. I attached a bar up front (as recomended) on mine so the front is secure. Great product.
