ok, well its good to know that this is a common thing when its cold. Normally all it takes is just a little burp of the throttle to get it to level out and run smoothly until its warm and ready to ride.
snownytro19: I was just reading what you had wrote, and that is very possible. It was -30ish the day that this happened, so that roll over valve could have froze closed causing the tank to pressure up. The only other thing that I thought could have been the cause is the vent on the valve cover...
It might have been a little bit over full, but would that cause it to spray oil across the engine compartment? I have a roll over valve on the oil tank, so the vent line no longer goes into the air box
I took my 11 Nytro xtx for a little dig and when I went to park the sled there was oil leaking out of the belly pan and oil spray on the forward part of the engine and the hood. I tried to track down the cause of the oil spray, and was not able to see anything. So I ran the sled for 20 min and...
I've got a 2011 nytro xtx with an mpi 180 kit on it. When the sled is first started it runs on 2 then will level of and run on 3 after the throttle is burped. I was kinda thinking that I had a fouled plug, but wouldnt that cause it to miss all the time?

Has anyone had the problem of they're primary hitting the plastic belly pan? I went for a ride and everything was fine, when I came back I went to do some clutching and noticed that the belly pan is all messed up! I never hit anything that I know of, Just wondering if anyone else has had this.
