Mines been awesome!! Probably have around 4000km’s on it!! Best improvement I’ve done to the sled!! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to ride! No snow!!
Hey Kuzzy!! Yeah I wanted coil overs, but it would've been 6-8 weeks before shipped. I couldn't wait so I purchased a set of shocks from the arctic cat dealer. I got the Fox evol's. Hopefully they r decent, can't see them being worse than what i been using!
Had to change out pivot arm on my skid, it was broken. got new parts, putting it back together today an discovered my fox float 3 rear shock is seized!! That's probably what broke #*$&@ up!!:mad:
So I think i'm going to get a new set!! should I stay with fox floats or coil overs be better?
Yeah I did run stock for 1.5 season with GGB exhaust, and it worked good no issues. Then I got a PRECISION EFI STAGE 1 - 230 HP tune. Had primary clutching issues, finally got smart and put on a CVTECH PB80 clutch and everything was awesome, last season when the sled was pulling great, the...
Hey docboy82, I ran GGb trail muffler on my 2017 sidewinder btx for a couple of years. Had no issues tell last season. Did a trail precision tune on my sled which i had for a couple of years now, but last season I started over boosting and it got louder so I dont know if something let go inside...
I have the BTX, and I think the only differences at the time I purchased, was the track style, and the MTX has narrower front A-arms.
Skid differences I think is just the length
Hey guys!! Just a "shout out" to Turbo Dynamics for getting my parts out to me everything was awesome!!
And also a "shout out" to DMC, and their new designed gear fit perfectly!!!
Took winder on 160km run yesterday and i couldn't believe how tight and fast the sled felt!! Just like the first...
Also when i was ready to installed the new prumary, I had to replace my stub shaft bearing, so when had that apart I used the heaviest bearing grease i could find and put some on the splines when I put it back together.
So I thing that helps a bit on the noise too.
It’s not a shock. It’s a hygear suspension dual pressure system. It’s like installing a piggy back onto our fox float 3 that is already in there. More air volume for the shock hopefully less overheating.
Hey Boston! I have pretty well same issue. I just went and purchased hygear suspension dual pressure system for me rear fox shock.
Hopefully it makes it better! I don't think it can make it worse.
I also have 2017 BTX sidewinder.
Hey Gman!! I agree with you its been pretty good clutch.
I'm running precision 230 tune, so i had to add a little bit of weight, and for me it was engaging a little high so a went with a size down on primary spring!
Seems to engage now around 2800rpm.
As for the noise i find it way quieter than...
