Hi Mooseman, that sucks broken exhaust again. Why is it cracking? Are the ice boogers hitting the exhaust and causing it to break? My 2010 MP had the exhaust header crack with less then 1500 miles. I did not understand how it broke other then ice braking free and hitting the exhaust.

Nice Walleye carcys1! I hope to get my sled out on the lake but thinking with the conditions of the ice pack snow, I will take the quad out instead. I hope we get some good snow in MB in February.

Correct once in diagnostic mode you can pull the coil and spark plug place near metal surface of the sled and inspect the spark the computer will pause it five times. Once you fallow the service manual to get in diagnostic it will also tell you what the numbers on the dash display represent.

I forgot to mention you can fire the coils through the display in diagnostic mode 5 times and also the injectors for testing purposes. Good luck!

Yes you can check the resistance on the primary and secondary side of the coils. I don't remember the spec off hand. That said a coil may only break up when cold or warm underload and the resistance test with the ohm meter may not pick it up. Your problem sounds a lot like mine. I could of...

How is the sled at steady throttle higher RPMs any missfire or stumble? You could try a bit of Seafoam in the fuel and see if it clears up.

No I got fuel at the Sportsmans on 44 and 59. If you think you may have some bad fuel ie water in it put some Seafoam in.
