    YAMAHA PREDICTIONS FOR 2013

I would like a ’92 Exciter LE in dark green metal flake paint. It rides as well as a Vector and due to less weight is less fatiguing and responds well. I did not have to resolve darting problems. The front struts had a large degree of adjustability (gas) and did not stick out in the open and...

    Quebec vacation, need advice

We are planning a trip for this winter and I would like to visit Old Quebec City while there. I know you cannot ride there so I will drive to do that part. From a snowmobiling stand point of view I am thinking I need to stay about 1 hour north of Quebec. We prefer a cabin, on a lake would be...

    Quick Question, Removed Studs

Just purchased a '06 Rage, 900 miles, 108 studs. I removed all of the studs without any problems. What is the life expectincy of a track with 108 holes drilled in it? I ride groomed trails, 40 - 50 MPH. 1000 miles a year. Studs are in great shape, how much can I sell them for? Thanks, Mike

Rail and Tunnel extension, advice please

I know on a factory 136" the rail is full length, not just extended. What I do not know is if the working part of the "SUSPENSION" is also longer or do they use the 121" suspension with longer rails? Thanks for the reply, I will check out you site.

    Ski lift and steering

Berstrom triple points I tried a set of the Bergstrom Triple Points with ski savers and supplied shims. Wow what a difference. I had them on my ’05 Vector, my wife and a friend has ‘06’s with stock carbide and they were darting badly. My wife ended up riding my sled! Next year all of our...

    Quebec riding info

We have been north of Montreal to the St-Michel-des-Saints area and have had great riding. I am looking into the Abitibi-Temiscamingue area and would appreciate any advice you may have. We prefer a cabin(s) rather than a Hotel / Motel. We like areas that have interconnecting trails so you are...

    Vecter or Poo Classic

I am interested in ride quality and comfort. Gas mileage is nice but not the most important factor. Reliability and longevity are important. I am thinking of a Vector GT or a 600 Poo Classic with the M10 rear. I am 59 years young and do family style groomed trail snowmobiling. Average speed is...

    Vector Clutch / engine alignment

according to what I am seeing with my guage the engine / primary is turned inward and you could not align them without moving the engine. Shims behind or in the front of the secondary will not resolve my situation. When you remove the nuts from the two front engine mounting bolts and the right...

Found a potential problem /Quick fix

I am getting my Vector ER ready for the long summer nap. I took the plastic fairing off to the right of the gas tank where the reverse handle is. Once removed you will find the back-up alarm and other electrical components. The main wire harness comes down along the gas tank. At the top of the...

    RS Vector Dissapointed

First, I am a new member and will say hi to you all. I will make this short and sweet. I am 160 lbs, 57 years young and trail ride between 30 and 40 mph and have 700 miles on my Vector. Engine size and speed are not important to me. Ride and handling is important to me. I think the seat is...
