Have 2019 SRX want to stiffen up skid for my body weight 235 dry weight ( no gear ) always carry tools etc. with me , but backpack trips carry some fuel and another bag for cloths.
spring part for 2019 SRX 8JX-G7474-20-00...
I will not remove , most sleds in the past if pull down one or two holes from stock . I'll add more spring load on center shock couple of turns put the stock skis on with 4 in carbides , just so I can see the difference. First trip and bring the curves ski with me. Trouble is never get much...
With sled on hoist can turn with one finger . Not sure what or whose carbides are on ski they put them on at the Toronto show in 2018 , before the 2019 sled come in .maybe need to go to a suspension specialist on ontario
Limiter strap is on the longest setting now, unless I take right off . My thinking was moving the bolt hole for the front suspension to the hole lower to the ground would help putting the front suspension up in turn lifting front sled , I could be 100 percent wrong . I assume your referring to...
You could be correct on the center needing to be heavier, not sure if there different one on the xtx than the srx as it was lowered for better cornering on trails . I know for sure my wife's pro s I can almost zoom through trails 1 hand
Front shock in picture can't go higher anymore as it was rubbing on coil (paint off in picture) so I went back down on Nut, , back 3 postion block is on softest one , to help front end off ground.the iqs electric shock I run between medium and firm. Front end hardly comes off ground due to 1...
Have 2019 SRX sidewinder , it's at the hole closet to the rear of the sled .Have curve ski looking to take some ski pressure off for steering, curves work well just a bit heavy . Have adjusted coils on front shocks , and added more tension to front shock also if I put in lower front hole will...
Well turns out not track or noise from bearing , new rotor protector came in , definitely old one is flatten out , likely from sled lift . Glad I did the hurricane tune myself , or this annoying noise might not of been solved
When I broke the secondary bolt all pieces went flying, there were small washers behind the collar some where (front or behind ). It's listed as collar 2 in parts book 8kc-ra447-00-00 in the diagram , mine has 3 , not sure we're they go , what does it change by moving location
Ok , thanks for info.pretty sure I did the same bearing on my 15 viper , had a hard time bleeding the brake after. I will make a aluminum gasket to lower the plastic piece for more space.Or I might make the dealer do it if it's the bearing or shart is cooked since I took it in during first season
Not having a good night finish up hurricane flash , changed the secondary spring when I put the main bolt back on it broke , luckily I was able to drill it out , need new bolt, thought tge torque was 65 , apparently not or my torque wrench is no good
