Thanks for the replies. One other question...how often should I change the final gear oil and differential gear oil? Once a year? More or less? I see the owners manual says once a year but do others recommend more often? Or doesn't it even need to be changed that often?

OK, I looked at the bulb socket and it only takes a one filament bulb. So it isn't the bulb. It must be in the wiring somewhere? Anybody have any ideas?

2001 Yamaha Grizzly 600 4X4. I am hearing a ratcheting noise when I first start the atv. It is only for a few seconds when I start it. One source told me it is the starter going bad....another source told me it is a normal Yamaha thing. (starter engaging the flywheel or something like that?)...
