Question...lots of belt material on my clutches. Belt is due to be replaced, measures 1" 11/32, down from 1" 13/32
Judging from the surfaces does it appear that I need to give my secondary spring a touch more twist as well? Dalton blk/brz @ 80°
You're killing me!! Haha!! $hits pretty funny.
Cryotherapy is a deep freezing (-185°) process, opposite of heat treating, with similar outcome.
Tapp/STM are great options. But somehow when someone says, "you shouldn't or can't do that" it makes me want to do it more. Even if it ends up costing...
Fleecer, I've purchased an RX1 primary, and I'd like to do as you say, verify operation & machine for overdrive.
If everything on the primary works as it should, I've been reviewing/considering getting the primary cryogenic therapy to enhance its rigidity
Fleecer, please forgive me...are you utilizing a Sidewinder primary, or is it a 1st gen (older model)
unbelievable goal setting results. I can't even come to grips with what it's like going 150+. Heart racing adrenaline rush for sure.
stay safe...as best you can
Lol...im with ya. The Boosts were running 115mph in 500', completely modded out, race fuel & chisels of course. Total respect to both Comp850s & Boosts.
The game has changed, no doubt.
The word "killer" was improvized. But trust the verbiage that was used to be very similar. One of the test mules pulled 130mph on a lake. Unfortunately, as a supplier they all have to move on to the next greatest thing.
If I was a supplier I'd push the envelope and compare a 998t to an comp850...
I understand. Perhaps he's been busy on the comp 850. His ads claim it to be a sidewinder "Killer" on the lakes, 130mph. Doesn't say anything about providing an extended warranty plan. Lol! Go figure.....
In the grand scheme of things this is not that big of a deal. $170?!?!
I think in the back of our minds we all knew the minute we touched it, it was inferior. At least i did. Part felt too lite, no density to speak of. I believe Redline1 was the first to experience the issue, but we wrote it...
Its probable there's a boost level threshold causing this part to expose its weakness/flaw in craftsmanship. Too bad it wasn't thoroughly tested prior to shipping.
Unfortunately, when the 2nd Gen version comes out, im going to need a $110. credit. And we all know that's not gonna happen.
Dont worry guys, i have the fix! Plus it gives me an excuse to pull & clean injectors.
Im just extremely thankful to TurboFlash for bringing light to this horrible situation. Can't afford to leave that piece in there and play a game of "F*** around and find out!"
Due to weather circumstances & riding conditions I treat snowmobiling like a side chick. It's very hard to stay 100% committed, and could take it or leave it.
My sleds worth what $7,000us?!?! Not worth getting rid of.
With that said, I appreciate every mile I can get and zero worries if I roll...
I'm hopeful you'll stay with the shoria, do the research, development, etc. And bring a conclusion to the idea of heating the exterior of the battery to aid in internal heat production. It's more up your alley. Lol!
