I just opted for the Schmidt brother's "large idler wheel" kit when I had my pivot link and front arm reinforced. They machine the collars and run larger bogey wheels to prevent this issue from happening and allow the sliders to wear more evenly.

I went to adjust the cable tonight, and same issue. This time I was able to see code 84. I adjusted the throttle cable and it was fine. It must've been tripping when it reved up at full steering lock.

Was going to upgrade to all 08 parts, but then schmidt brothers talked me out of it. A fraction of the cost to beef up the 07 assembly and apparently it's very strong

Not to beat a dead horse here, but i ordered oem wheel assemblies this week and they are vastly different from the original 07 pieces. Pretty sure they are rubber, nice japan bearing, and a slot for the shock bolt. Pics later. They look much more similar to the arctic cat wheels pictured.

Im sending in a "good" front arm, bell crank, and link from the 07 to schmidt brothers soon. Anyone have experience with their "beef-up" kit? The guy over the phone was very knowledgeable and promised i wouldnt be able to break their setup on a saturday afternoon in tug hill.
