2022 Viper will not start when cold, but fuel pump works??

It's suggested to change out both the fuel pump and ISC relays for the sealed ones. I have never had an issue starting in down to -23F weather with the Roc Toys ones.

    2017 BTX Exhaust

I believe that the headers are stainless. You are correct that you have to remove the fuel tank to get at it. I've never taken mine apart to that point, but know that is the general path.

    P0523 code

Have you checked that your battery is properly hooked up and charged? I got a bunch of weird code last year that resulted from my terminal bolt being loose. The intermittent voltage caused a lot of items to code out despite being perfectly fine.

    Caliber sled Tie Down Clamp

sweet, it doesn't require the extruded aluminum track style? I know most of the newer trailers have the track which allows you put put a sled anywhere in the range.

    Caliber sled Tie Down Clamp

How do these mount to the trailer deck? My triton trailer is a threaded hole for the bar, and if I could switch to one of these it would be so much better.

How hard is it to install the belt adjuster? Is there a video on youtube for install and adjustments?

What's happened to the Japanese Manufacturers (not just sleds)

I meant changes to stuff is getting harder and harder to justify i.e. putting EFI on a motor or rebuildable shocks. Those massive advancements are not as easy as they were to do in the 80s or 90s. ( i guess the term I'm looking for is refinement vs leave as is). I don't know why the different...

What's happened to the Japanese Manufacturers (not just sleds)

IMO powersports are reaching a level where incremental changes are super expensive to make and the overall markets are shrinking for engines. Digital stuff is becoming more prevelant amongst people. Gone are the days of working your factory job and coming home to a garage filled with sleds atvs...

Wife’s chest too big for these bibs?

I didn't believe that the speed limit existed until I got pinched a couple years ago. Now granted this was on a flat grade in a rather populated area just outside of the cities. Consequently they checked for studs on this portion too and my buddy had them. A few miles of ditch riding was the...

Wife’s chest too big for these bibs?

And you have a good 6+ hour drive up north too! I used to live in the NW burbs before moving up to MN. Much better riding up this way now haha.

Wife’s chest too big for these bibs?

You get more done in one season to that sled than I might get done in 5 years....impressive.

2015 Viper XTX SE Battery Dead, needing "reset"?

Not sure where in the cities you are, but I highly recommend taking your Viper to Century Powersports in Stillwater. Their service group is awesome and always takes great care of me.

How many miles did you get on your sled this season 2022-2023?

My family has a house in TL and I rode that area for 20+ years before I moved up to the Twin Cities. I felt bad sending my dad pictures of the feet of snow this year with what you guys dealt with. He eventually said screw it and drove up here.

Thinking of getting a sr viper

Two things I have learned about the starting is that junky fuel at the start of the season always will cause a bit of a hiccup in the cold. Get fresh in, and ride it then it goes away. The battery voltage is also pretty critical and I carry a backup pack on me always since this is not able to be...

Thinking of getting a sr viper

A couple of things to note here. A full clutch kit from Thunder products or stingray mods will eliminate the rev limiter issue. For the starting, you need to turn the key on, and not engage until you hear the fuel pump click off. Changing out the relays to roctoys sealed style has never left my...

Thinking of getting a sr viper

    1. The YPD is a shock meant to absorb chassis flex but I heard that it really does nothing. They tried to "innovate" but it really wasn't much. 2. I think 2014s suffered some initial quality issues from the factory but most probably have enough miles and time on them now that those bugs have...

    2014 viper rtx

When you fire it up make sure that the temp light is off (~70F) before you hit the throttle. It will likely shut off and foul plugs if not. I have a 2014 RTX SE as well. Check for unnecessary play in steering post, and ask about bearings like posted above. Jackshaft and driveshaft are probably...

    Schimdt bros. Quiet trail muffler

The throttle response of the engine is greatly improved by any exhaust. This is probably the nicest built option out of all the Viper ones out there. If anyone is interested in it let me know and PM me!
